VIK Chile Retreat

Vik Chile is a striking retreat combining distinctive architecture, design, art and décor with warm, attentive service, and a wide array of activities for guests. The floating, sculptural roof of bronzed titanium designed by Frank Gehry and Richard Serra greets guests as they arrive. The hilltop location boasts 360-degree views out across the surrounding vineyards and nature.

Each of the retreat’s 22 suites reflects an extensive collection of artwork including many site-specific installations by Chilean and international artists. Milla Milla, VIK Vineyard’s signature restaurant, features the freshest local and seasonal ingredients through true “farm to table” and “zero kilometer” practices for a menu which changes daily and takes guests through a culinary journey across Chile.

The holistic Wine Spa invites visitors to enjoy a unique wellness experience with special therapies, while the fitness center features an infinity pool with expansive views of the surrounding hills. Guests are encouraged to explore the many hiking trails, take runs through the vineyard, horseback ride through the vines, or mountain bike through the vineyard valleys. Other available activities include meeting local artists, barbeques and picnics in the vineyard, and birdwatching.

Residence Clos Apalta

Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, great-granddaughter of the creator of Grand Marnier, is the force behind Viña Lapostolle, the winery at the heart of Clos Apalta Residence, overlooking Chile’s spectacular Apalta Vineyards.

Th spectacular setting combines a respect for nature with cutting-edge design. Each suite is decorated based on one of the grape varieties that make up the famous wines produced on the estate.

At the restaurant, wine steers the cuisine. The freshness of seasonal ingredients and flavors of the region are highlighted by pairing them with the estate’s wines. The vegetables and herbs come from organic gardens, which guests may visit.

The hotel is surrounded by nature and your activity choices are just as bountiful. Wander the vineyards by bike or on horseback, hike in the mountains and in the pristine forest, stroll through our organic gardens where you can gather the ingredients that will make up the dishes served to you that very day. Cycling through the vineyards and trekking the trails of the native forests are a good complement to the activities linked to wine, beginning with a tour and private tasting in the winery.
