in Blog Posts
During a recent Western Cruise, INCA's lead naturalist Richard Polatty captured spectacular footage of Sierra Negra's eruption on the island of Isabela.
Sierra Negra Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in Galapagos. It is one of several active volcanoes on the western island of Isabela. It began its most recent eruption on June 26th 2018, only 10 days after La Cumbre Volcano started erupting on the nearby island of Fernandina.
Visitors have the opportunity to observe these volcanoes from the safety and comfort of our luxury yacht INTEGRITY during the Western Cruise. For more information and available dates, call us at 510-420-1550 or email us.
